“This hotel was nothing but a breath of fresh air. The manager and front desk staff were fantastic. The rate was fantastic and to get a king size suite with tons of room for the price we did was great. This is right off the interstate and very convenient. “This Wingate facility is right off I-95 in Port Wentworth, so it is very convenient. Savannah Airport is close by and Savannah Bay Street is an easy drive. During our stay everyone was very pleasant. There is a handy laundry room on the 3rd floor by the stairwell, and a business center and small exercise room and hot tub on the main floor.”

Nice Surprise by pbroo

We randomly selected the Wingate to spend the night. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable and the price was a nice surpise. I would recommend the Wingate for anyone traveling through the Savannah area. A great value for the money.

Best Value in Savannah! by dts55

If you are only staying one or two nights and are planning to spend your days seeing Savannah and not staying in your hotel, this is the area to stay. It is about 15-20 minutes to the historical district of Savannah, but the value was incredible. A ton less than in the historical district or even midtown. This hotel appeared to be brand new, but we learned it was 4-5 years old. The rooms were clean, updated and comfortable. What you would expect from a higher priced hotel. The hot breakfast was a nice touch. If you want to stay in the heart of the historical district to walk to everything, then this isn't for you, but if you are just staying a night and want a clean, updated, nice place, plan to drive a little to see the sights and save a bundle!

Great Place to Stay!!!!!

Stopped at the Wingate earlier this month and was pleasantly surprised. Very courtious staff. We got in very late at night and although their computers were down they were very accomodating. We had to wait a little while because of the computers but was then surprised to have our bill adjusted because of the wait. The rooms were very - large king bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was spotless and stylish. Breakfast in the morning was very unique. It was not just a cold cereal and juice. It even had hot breakfast items. Not to mention they make fresh cookies all the time. i\I will certainly stop there again on my way down to Florida. Do not hesitate to pick this hotel.
